Lauren and Chris’ Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden Wedding was incredible and truly unique. It was such an honor to have been such an important part of their special day!

When we first met Lauren and Chris, we knew their wedding was going to be incredible, beautiful, and reflective of their personalities. Needless to say, it was “them” in each and every way. It seems like just yesterday that we met with Lauren and Chris for their Ware River engagement session in Gloucester, VA. Now, just a few short months later, they are starting their life together as husband and wife.

Lauren and Chris’ Ware River Engagement Session

We LOVE Lauren and Chris’ Ware River engagement session!

Having spent most of our childhood summers on one tributary of the Chesapeake Bay or another, we jumped at the opportunity to take Lauren and Chris’ engagement pictures at the family river house on the Ware River in Gloucester Co. Va., along with their two furry children.

Lauren and Chris could not have chosen a better day for their engagement pictures. What started out as a sunny spring day, slowly became an incredible fiery red sky as the sun slowly set over the river. We had such a great time working with Lauren and Chris and literally had to make ourselves stop taking pictures as the sunlight faded. However, the moonrise over the river provided a little encore to the session and the results were incredible. We hope you enjoy them!

Amanda and Josh’s William and Mary Engagement Session

We had such a great afternoon with Amanda and Josh during their William and Mary Engagement Session in Historic Williamsburg, Virginia. Prior to their engagement session, we’d only met and talked with them via phone; it was so nice to finally put faces with the incredible couple we’d spoken with!

In Williamsburg, when it comes to planning an engagement session, it’s hard to top the historic campus of the College of William and Mary. And for two William and Mary Alumni, it’s an even better fit!
